I work with teens, adults, couples, and families. Clients under 18 need parent or guardian consent.
-
Not at all. I also help with anxiety, panic, and relationship struggles, and many clients come in simply wanting support. If you're not sure we're a good fit, a free consultation is a great place to start.
-
Yes. ERP works well for teens, and when it helps, I involve parents so the whole family learns how to respond to OCD without accidentally feeding it.
-
OCD can attach to almost anything. Some of the most common forms I treat include:
Intrusive thoughts and “Pure O”
Harm OCD (fear of hurting someone)
Relationship OCD (constant doubts about your partner)
Contamination and germ OCD
Checking OCD (locks, stoves, mistakes)
Religious OCD, also called scrupulosity
Health anxiety and illness worries
Perfectionism and “just right” OCD
Unwanted taboo or sexual thoughts
If your worry isn’t listed here, reach out anyway.

Both involve worry, but OCD also comes with compulsions like checking, seeking reassurance, avoiding, or mentally reviewing to get relief. Our first sessions include a careful assessment so we can understand what's going on and choose the right approach.
-
Exposure and Response Prevention is the gold standard treatment for OCD. We gradually face fears while resisting compulsions, at a pace you choose.
-
Yes. Research supports ERP by video, and practicing exposures in your own home, car, or neighborhood often makes the work feel more real. We plan each exposure together, and I'm right there with you on screen.
-
It depends on you and what OCD is targeting. Most people meet weekly, and we track progress together so you always know where you stand. The goal is to give you skills you can keep using on your own.
-
I don't prescribe, but I work closely with psychiatrists and medication providers I trust. If you're interested, I'm happy to recommend someone and, with your permission, coordinate with them so your care stays connected. Many people do ERP without medication, and some find a combination helpful.
-
I’m trained to integrate Christian principles if you’d like, and I welcome clients of all faiths or none. I also treat religious OCD, or scrupulosity, with care for your beliefs.
-
Online for now, with in-person coming soon. Because sessions are online, I can see Georgia residents for full treatment wherever you live, from Atlanta to Savannah, Augusta, Athens, and everywhere in between. Tennessee residents can be seen for counseling without diagnosis.
-
It’s a relaxed 15 minute call. I’ll ask you to briefly share what brings you to therapy and what you’re hoping will change. There’s no need to go into detail yet. You’re welcome to ask me anything about how I work, and if it feels like a good fit, we’ll go over rates and find a time that works for your schedule. There’s no pressure to commit on the call.
-
Individual sessions are $150 for 50 minutes; couples and family sessions are $200. I’m private pay and can provide a superbill for out of network reimbursement.
-
24 hours notice is required. Late cancels and no-shows are charged half the session rate.
